Description
Responsibilities/Clinical duties will include:
- Providing comprehensive clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings to patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and end-stage renal disease, including chronic outpatient dialysis patients
- Maintain your ability to perform clinical duties at Ochsner LSU Health System
- Loss of privileges to practice at OLHS shall constitute cause and may result in termination of employment
- Fulfill teaching/educational obligations throughout employment at LSUHSC-S
- Teaching students, residents, and fellows
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, faculty presentations, and other academic responsibilities as assigned by the section chief and department chair
- Participating in clinical research reflective of expertise and research interests as part of scholarly activity and the academic mission
Qualifications
- Have an MD, MD/PhD, DO, or international equivalent terminal degree
- Be eligible for medical licensure and clinical practice in the state of Louisiana
