The Holiday Inn Chicago NW Crystal Lake Convention Center is hiring a new General Manager. The General Manager plays a crucial role in supervising all aspects of hotel operations, including the day-to-day management of staff activities and guest experiences. Their duties involve providing leadership, strategically planning for various departments to enhance our service culture, optimize operations, and ensure an outstanding guest experience. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS HOTEL EXPERIENCE TO APPLY. Key responsibilities of the GM include:
- Supervising overall hotel operations.
- Ensuring strict adherence to hotel operating controls, SOP's, policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Achieving success in key areas such as Revenue, Cost Control, Property Improvement, Guest Experience, and Employee Engagement.
- Analyzing P&L statements for continuous improvement of the property.
- Vigilantly monitoring the hotel's business reports and taking daily actions.
- Playing a proactive role in the sales mission.
- Compiling monthly financial reports.
- Should have prior experience working in management of hotels; must have comprehensive experience with sales, maintenance, food/beverage, front desk, housekeeping
- Should have experience with IHG properties and full-service hotels
-Should be proficient in IHG systems including Merlin and Concerto
- Leading compliance efforts related to Health & Safety, ADA, and other legal requirements.
