Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and one year of relevant experience; OR three years of relevant experience.
This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location in Menands, NY. HRI offers hybrid telecommuting arrangements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) or related software.
  • Experience with data entry and working with confidential data/information.
  • Clerical or administrative experience working in a professional office setting.
  • Experience with Workday transactional processing in HCM-Core, Benefits or Absence functional areas, or ability to quickly learn human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities
Health Research, Inc.'s (HRI) Human Resources Department is seeking a driven and organized Assistant Human Resources Administrator to join a team of knowledgeable, dedicated, and experienced HR professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for jump-starting your career in Human Resources. HRI is in the midst of an implementation of a new enterprise system, Workday, and this is this is a great opportunity to be a part of the development and implementation of new policies and procedures in our benefits and leave of absence areas of work.
The Assistant Human Resources Administrator will join a team that provides benefits and leave of absence administration and support to employees. The incumbent in this position will assist the Human Resources department with employee benefits and leave processing, including but not limited to data entry of new hire benefits enrollments into various benefits systems, preparing written correspondence, tracking leave benefit usage and other related duties as assigned.
