Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the office staff and management team
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or department
- Greet visitors and ensure a professional and welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with data entry, filing, and document management
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with special projects and events as assigned
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with calendar management and scheduling appointments
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and experience with phone systems
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, dental receptionist, or in a similar administrative role is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
