Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Administrative Assistant is a key part of our Comfort Keepers® team and performs the job of supporting a busy home care agency administrative team including Operations, Care Management and Human Resources.

Essential Functions of the Administrative Assistant Role:
- Answer phones and field general questions about all aspects of the business
- Assists with caregiver and client documentation and communication
- Responsible for Long Term Care Insurance management for those clients who use it
- Back up to Care Coordinators/Schedulers to help during busy times and be familiar with clients and caregivers
- Help with billing/payroll of clients and caregivers
- Assisting in planning and organizing company events related to clients, employees and referral sources
- Participates in caregiver Orientation and Onboarding to acclimate them to Comfort Keepers
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies, forms, and equipment. Also, work with product and service vendors
- Processes incoming mail
- Performs other specific projects as necessary under Operation Manager and owner
- Keeping the office clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Experience and/or training in office management, business administration, customer service, care management and/or human resources
- Requires proficiency in computer skills, communication skills, office administration
- Must possess and demonstrate excellent maturity, organizational skills as well as be a team player and have a positive professional, business image
- Self-motivated and a good problem solver, wanting to be part of a business you can personally help grow
- Outgoing, friendly, and works well with seniors, their family members, caregivers and fellow professionals in the healthcare field
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and have a can-do attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
