Administrative Assistant

J.C. Electric, Inc is an electrical contractor with over 45 years in the construction business. We are seeking a self-motivated and professional Administrative Assistant. They should be customer oriented, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Have excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
● Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills
● Strong Communication skills
● Familiarity with office equipment
● Excellent phone etiquette
● Attention to detail and organizational skills
● Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
● Valid driver's license
● Experience in the construction industry is a plus
Preferred:
● Aptitude for learning new software and systems
● Time & Material Billing / Epic Pricing Software experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
● Effective use of our EBM software and supporting systems to perform the following key
functions:
○ Job opening and closure
○ Billing
○ Procurement
○ Assisting with quotations and data transfer
● Assist visitors
● Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail and mail
● General clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, etc.
● IT assistance
Work Schedule is Full-Time on-site Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm and Friday, 8am - 2pm. Wages: $23/hr - $25/hr. depending on experience plus benefits.
