This role supports Brown, Graham & Company’s internal team at our Amarillo, Texas, location and provides first-line responses to external inquiries. The candidate will need to thrive on variety and be able to balance multiple priorities. Provide day-to-day administrative support for a CPA office specializing in Tax, Assurance & Advisory with strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Answer phones and greet clients.
- Learns, understands, and follows the firm’s policies and procedures.
- Other office duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The position of Admin Assistant does not have any supervisory responsibility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICIATIONS
- Must have at least two years’ experience as a Receptionist/Administrative support, preferably with a CPA firm or other professional organization requiring a high level of confidentiality
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal & non-verbal interpersonal communication skills (listening, explaining, understanding, reactions, etc.), and written communication skills to interact with clients and employees
- Advanced computer skills in MS Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, preferred
