ASSISTANT BUYER/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Seeking a high energy, detail oriented individual for a full-time, permanent position. Located in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh; this is a great position for someone looking to use their retail, administrative or purchasing experience to contribute to a great team. Established company, good environment, no nights or weekends. Your experience in buying, purchasing, or an administrative role will be very helpful. Experience in fashion, retail or e-commerce is required.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as information funnel through interaction via phone calls, emails and memos.
- Maintains E-file/Files for: all vendor correspondence, store reporting.
- Maintains accurate, timely methods of communication with all vendors and our team.
- Coordinates, writes and maintains accurate purchase orders for all Special Events and Special Orders.
- Ensures PO accuracy and that appropriate ship windows are set and adhered to.
- Communicates with Sales Associates and E-Commerce team, about the status of special orders.
- Communicates with Buying Team regarding any issues with vendors, products, and creates pre/post
event results reports.
- Communicates with Receiving to ensure timely processing of receipts and RTVs.
- Tracks POs and delivery of goods, maintaining accurate files and communication.
Requirements:
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must have the ability to interact in a professional
manner with all levels of internal and external clients.
-Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments at the same time.
-Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and have a strong sense of urgency.
-Ability to analyze reports, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to Buyer.
-Requires 2+ years full time job experience. Intermediate level Word, Excel and Outlook required.
Job Type: Full-time/40 hours. Monday is remote, Tuesday through Friday, on site at our store.
No nights or weekends.
