PROGRAM DEVELOPER, SPH Community Health Sciences, Salary Grade 73

To provide comprehensive health promotion to Pediatric patients (aged 12 to 21 years old) within the BMC emergency department (ED) by screening, conducting brief interventions and referring patients to appropriate resources (SBIRT) for a variety of health behaviors including, but not limited to, substance abuse, sexual health, primary care and safety needs. To develop and manage Pediatric SBIRT program, including acting as a liaison between Pediatric ED clinicians and point of service testing and outside referrals.  Conduct SBIRT in Pediatric unit of BMC ED (20%)

Coordinate and supervise other Pediatrics HPAs (20%)

Build and update referral network, create/maintain implementation library and market program (20%)

Conduct program evaluation by gathering and reporting data (including patient follow-ups) (20%)

Assist in departmental/Institute trainings and meetings (20%)
