N J Lema & Company is looking to hire a full-time, dynamic, customer-service-oriented, and professional Administrative Assistant to work in their office in Baltimore, MD. The Administrative Assistant serves as the eyes and ears of the office, providing information, promptly reporting any issues to the CEO and manager, and responding to and addressing clients’ questions and concerns.
The ideal and selected candidate will have the following job duties:
1. Welcoming, greeting, and assisting office visitors and clients
2. Answering phone calls, taking messages, and routing calls to appropriate staff for additional assistance
3. Sorting and distributing incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail for clients
4. Working with other staff to schedule clients’ office visits
5. Supporting the manager and other staff in printing, making copies, scanning, and filing confidential documents
6. Ordering and keeping track of office supplies and equipment
7. Other duties as assigned
Ideal and selected candidate must possess the following:
1. Professional customer service skills
2. Proper communication skills – verbal and written
3. Be organized and detail-oriented
4. Experience in accounting and/or tax services
5. Academic experience in fields such as Accounting, Business, or Economics
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgement under pressure
