Position Title: Administrative Assistant Specialist
Location: Mayfield Heights, OH 44124
Expected Duration: 06+ months.
Pay Rate: $30.56/hr.
Position Description:
- This Executive Administrative Assistant position will report to the Aerospace Group VP of Human Resources and will support different Group Staff functional leaders. In addition, this role will have Integration support responsibilities under the direction of the VP of Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to the Group President and his/her staff.
- Follows policies and procedures as administered by the corporation.
- Assists with the preparation of monthly expense reports.
- Prepares financial, statistical, narrative and/or other reports as requested.
- Prepares PowerPoint presentations.
- Independently composes reports and correspondence.
- Records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to complete a large number of varied tasks expeditiously.
- Schedule and arrange rooms, catering, etc., for inter-departmental and outside meetings.
- Arrange travel and hotel reservations.
- Maintain calendar(s) of appointments.
- Prioritize, distribute and route mail.
- May draft response correspondence for supervisor’s review.
- Maintain files.
- Back-up for other Administrative Assistants as needed.
Exceptional project management skills:
- Clear verbal and written communication capabilities
- Pro-active engagement with calendars, travel, event arrangements, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives with a high sense of urgency.
- Takes ownership of responsibilities and is accountable for their delivery.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate with advanced degree preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office
- 3-6 years of administrative experience to include organization, calendar scheduling and coordination.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload.
- Self-starter
