The Recruiting Processor for ensuring the timely and accurate qualification of drivers based on FMCSA-DOT and NAPA Transportation qualification standards and assisting with onboarding of driver candidates.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Screen applications for information pertaining to FMCSA-DOT and NAPA qualification standards, to include employment verifications, Motor Vehicle Reports, DAC, PSP, Criminal Background checks, etc.
- Utilize various social media and advertising methods to generate applicants
- Answer candidate questions through email and social media inquiries
- Communicate effectively with applicants on telephone to obtain any missing personal data to complete the application
- Audit recruiting files in ensure 100% compliance with all applicable laws.
- Contact former employers/references by telephone or fax to verify Driver employment record and history
- Reach out to incoming drivers prior to orientation to confirm their attendance
- Request records to verify driving records as needed, DAC MVRs PSP, etc.
- Enter data in software to complete DOT applications
- Contact and schedules driver applicants for orientation
- Coordinate travel/hotel arrangements for orientation
- Assist with orientation as necessary
- Refer any unresolved issues to recruiters
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience: 0-2 years of related experience in recruiting, administration, or sales
Education: A high school diploma or GED required.
