Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility: Transcript production and billing
- Intermediary between clients, office, and independent contractors
- Answering telephone calls, responding to emails
Skills:
- STRONG computer and multitasking skills required, and candidate will be trained to use specific and proprietary trade software
- Legal support background helpful but not required
- Effective communication with lawyers, paralegals, and secretaries on a daily basis
- Attention to detail and flexibility defines this position’s duties
- Candidates will enjoy working in a small, family-owned business environment where everyone is respected
Education/Work Experience:
- College degree and/or legal support background
- The ideal candidate will be familiar with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook
- Must be able to work with and handle confidential materials
- Strong sense of numbering and filing schemes
- Organized and self-starter; ability to work with little supervision
- References and background check required
- Hours for this position are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
