Due to retirement, Raymond Central Public Schools is seeking a highly motivated full-time Administrative Assistant for the 2024-2025 school year. The position has a potential start date of July 24th, 2024. The Administrative Assistant serves a number of roles in the main office
Job Title: Administratie Assistant
Location: Valparaiso Elementary
Reports To: Building Principal
Starting Wage: $18.25 per hour.
Hours: To be determined by the principal.
Description:
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask, capable of working both independently and as a team, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff and patrons. Technology skills necessary for the job include: Email, spreadsheets, Google applications, and PowerSchool. Exceptional communication and problem solving skills essential to the functions fo the position.

1. Building budgeting, purchasing, and ordering
2. Answering telephones, secured entrance monitoring
3. Communication skills in emails to teachers, families
4. General administrative assistant duties as needed
5. General computer processing skills
