Lang Specialty Trailers is looking for an employee to support customer service and daily operations. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, providing general support to our employees, and answering the telephone. Previous experience as an office or Administrative Assistant in a fast paced office environment would be an advantage. A successful candidate should have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to multi-task and balance a busy workload. Ultimately, this position reports to the office manager and should be able to help ensure the smooth running of office operations.
Responsibilities
- Office operations including: answering and directing phone calls, maintenance, data entry and printing, mailing, office supplies, and equipment
- Schedule meetings and appointments
- Maintain the office condition and coordinate to arrange necessary repairs when needed
- Provide support to visitors
- Other office duties as assigned
Skills
- Proven experience as an office manager or Administrative Assistant
- Knowledge of office responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. phone systems, computers and printers)
- Familiarity with email scheduling tools
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- Provide general support to visitors
- Courteous and positive attitude
- High School degree; additional qualifications as an Administrative or Office Assistant will be a plus.
