The Administrative Assistant 1 provides support to the Director of Facilities and the Facilities Department by performing clerical tasks. These tasks include greeting customers, answering phones, sending emails, preparing reports, and meeting invites, taking meeting minutes, and filing. This position would also supervise two or more Office Assistants 1; or directly perform the more complicated clerical processing and office support work for which substantive knowledge of the program area is required, or do both.
- Manage Enterprise, Fleet Requisitions, Inventory, Asset Control, and Capital Project submittals
- Supervise two or more Office Assistant 1 positions and manage package/mail receipt, mail processing/distribution, and package processing/distribution.
- Provide clerical processing and office support work for the Facilities Department and any necessary communication with the business office on purchase requisitions.
- Greeting customers, answering phones, sending emails, preparing reports, and meeting invites, taking meeting minutes, and filing.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Six months of experience in administrative support, which includes use of office software (e.g., email, word processing), provision of customer service, business writing, and/or office administration. The selected candidate must pass a keyboarding test that demonstrates the ability to enter text at a rate of at least 30 words per minute with at least 96% accuracy by completion of probation.
