Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or equivalent in Secretarial or Business preferred,
- Ability to work in a diverse and fast paced environment,
- Experience in multi-cultural, diverse environments,
- Meets all legal employment requirements,
- Meets most if not all, core competencies for the position.
- Knowledge of HR software, laws and compliance requirements,
- Knowledg of public school software programs such as Eschool, RAP, etc.
- Knowledge of Special Education laws and compliance requirements
- Willingness to take inititive and actively learn new programs and skills.
Professional Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience is preferred
- Proven ability to work well in and contribute to a team environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and field interuptions
- Organizational skills to keep yourself and others organized
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with others
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel),
- Proven customer service skills
- Basic Administrative Assistant duties such as:
- Operate as the department(s) gatekeeper
- Answer phones
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Sort and distribute mail
- Prepare communications such as memos, emails, reports and other correspondence
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Perform data entry associated with Human Resources and Student Services
- Schedule, confirm and follow up on interviews, manage pre and post work, timely send all correspendence to candidates
- Other duties as may, from time-to-time, be established by Administration
