Job Summary
The Choice Health Management Services Administrative Assistant assists the organization with all administrative duties as outlined below and will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
General Responsibilities
Answers phones, directs calls and takes messages.
Refers to directory to ascertain the number of the person requested.
Completes clerical work for administrative and office personnel.
Opens, delivers, and forwards mail.
Greets visitors, ensures sign-in process is followed, and directs guests to desired destination.
Orders office supplies.
Assembles materials for reports and questionnaires.
Records appointments and meetings for administrative staff.
Monitors postage meter. Stuffs envelopes and mails them. Takes mail to post office, buys stamps, and picks-up mail.
Arranges for service of office equipment.
Maintains driver and vehicle listings.
Completes audits as assigned.
Types, scans, organizes, and files documents.
Facilitates Employee of the Month program.
Makes reservations as needed.
Orders food for events as needed.
Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.
Education/Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrates attention to detail in work.
Demonstrates effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be organized, detail conscious and accurate.
Must be tactful, but persistent in the performance of duties.
Must be capable of working without continuous supervision and guidance.
4. Experience
Minimum one (1) year experience in an administrative position required.
Demonstrated computer skills are necessary for this position. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office products including, excel, word and email.

Reports all allegations of patient abuse, neglect and/or misappropriation of property.
Reports complaints to appropriate parties for follow-up.
Follows established safety policies and procedures.
Staff Development
Attends and participates in scheduled in-service training, educational classes, and meetings. Completes assigned Relias training.
Physical Demands
Work is primarily light in nature, with lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds; standing, walking, talking, hearing, reaching, handling, and fingering.

Working Environment/Conditions
Primarily inside in well-lighted, well-ventilated areas. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Principal Contacts
Works with facility staff, office staff, families, visitors, and vendors.
