SalaryResponsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, maintain appointment calendar.
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Schedule imaging, obtain pre-authorization and document management
Experience:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a medical office
- Familiarity with receptionist duties, including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and insurance verification
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Effective communicator, positive attitude and consistent attendance required
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- Strong customer service skills and ability to provide excellent patient service
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
