Front Desk Receptionist / Office Assistant

Front Desk Receptionist:

• Greet each patient and potential patient in a positive, engaging and professional manner.
• Recognize opportunities and ask appropriate needs-based questions to provide extraordinary customer service to create patient loyalty.
• Schedule and confirm appointments while coordinating with the Specialist's schedule according to guidelines.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of patient care using customer service skills and must be adept at word processing and database management skills.
• Check patients in and out, collect and record payments, track revenue and perform accounting activities to include petty cash reconciliation, end of day close, bank deposits, posting of charges, entering invoices, payments, insurance contract information, weekly inventory reconciliation, and supply ordering. Balance accounts daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Demonstrate and sell batteries and other specialty products as described.
• Perform minor hearing aid repairs as allowed by state law such as battery door and receiver checks. Clean tips, domes, hearing aids, etc.
• Participate in all marketing efforts to include outbound phone calls to patients, mail recall letters, distribute patient comment cards, etc.
• Ensure the reception, waiting areas, and restrooms are well maintained.

Qualifications:

• Must be detail oriented and must demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills, especially on the phone.
• Must be self- sufficient, have excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Must have basic computer skills, experience with Adobe, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Scanner, Printers, Multi-line phone system.
• Telemarketing, prospecting, and retail experience is preferred. Calls will be made to current patients and warm leads.
• High School Diploma
• Mandatory Training in Goldsboro- Compensation provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
