Assistant Snack Bar Manager (Front Of House)

Prestonwood Country Club, a premier establishment in Cary, NC, is searching for a Assistant Snack Bar Manager(Front of House) to help lead our Snack Bar/Pool Team from April - September.

The FOH Assistant Snack Bar Supervisor focuses on ensuring member and guest satisfaction by overseeing and controlling the quality of service and products at the Snack Bar. Responsible for hiring and training of seasonal staff, creating standard operating procedures for FOH and BOH staff, scheduling, cleaning and set up of kitchen and service areas, coordinating menu and price changes with Snack Bar Management and initial ordering of all products needed for opening.

PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for initial set up, cleaning, menu development, and stocking of pool Snack Bar kitchen

· Continuously practices and trains all Snack Bar staff members on the quality standards for safety, sanitation and food handling in addition to procedures for operating the Snack Bar counter service.

· Required to manage multiple tasks during high volume events and maintain strong organizational skills.

· Trains and develops the bartender team, has ability to work that role when needed. (will be in charge of the Snack Bar alcohol beverage program and maintaining quality controls)

· Exercises and supervises portion control of Snack Bar food items and establishes controls to minimize food waste and theft

· Constantly evaluates all Snack Bar menu items to assure quality standards are consistently attained

· Works directly with members to plan and coordinate private event functions to be held poolside.

· Responsible for Ordering and inventory controls of all Food and Beverage items used for Snack Bar service.

Position requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have minimum of 2 years of Food and Beverage experience, supervisor experience a plus.
• Must be able to work weekends and all holidays during the pool season. (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)
• Show excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have computer and POS skills including spreadsheets, provide food and labor analysis reports
• Must have knowledge and previous bar operation experience.
• Serve safe is a plus.
