Administrative Assistant For F & I

As an F & I admin your job will be to assist the sales and F&I manager. This entails processing paperwork, closing documents with customers, and discussing financing options with customers. F&I also work with financial lenders to give fair interest rates to buyers. As with all positions within dealerships, F&I Department employees are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards. The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented as well as organized. Overtime, this person could grow into the go to F & I manager with more responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Helping our customers arrange the financing of their purchases and presenting them with additional products that enhance their vehicle and ownership experience

• Learn title laws and registration process
• Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position
• Helps desks deals, submits deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals
• Ensures all deals are fully compliant with local, state and federal guidelines
• Prepares paperwork, contracts and delivers deals
• Ensures the expeditious funding of all contracts
• Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
• Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
• Understanding and complying with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A college degree or equivalent experience in finance is preferred but not required.
• A strong background in business, mathematics, marketing and computers is also required.
• 2 years of experience. Proven track record of success with verifiable data
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
• Professional personal appearance & excellent communication skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
• F & I personnel require strong communication skills in order to work with customers, employees and finance and insurance vendors as they represent the dealership.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check & drug screen
• People working within the retail industry often have to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
