SalaryPart time opening starting at 3 days a week (M,T, and F) with full time potential at our Festus location. This location offers family eye care and medical care. The successful candidate will have a positive outgoing personality, and be willing to work as a part of a team. Previous experience as a front desk medical receptionist, Optometric Technician, optician or medical assistant is preferred but not required.
Job duties will include answering phones, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, preparing charts for appointments, submitting claims to vision insurance plans and cross training to learn other aspects in the optical field. Technician duties include pretesting patients prior to exam with the doctor and entering information into the Electronic Health Record.
