The position will support the Regional Administration department. Main tasks include but not limited to:
- Provide general support for offices throughout the West coast. Offices are located from Seattle, WA to San Diego, CA.
- Prepare various vendors' invoices for payment.
- Register company vehicles to DMV and renew them.
- Contact office managers to gather information, summarize & submit the report.
- Collect company vehicle use log and make report.
- Arrange maintenance of the facility and vehicle.
- Work with Head Office (in Chicago) for Tax payment, Insurance, Fixed Asset, Building Lease etc.
- Assist rotational staff management change who are assigned from company's Headquarters based in Japan.
- Prepare for VIP guests visit.
- Work with management to set yearly budget.
- Documents, records and reports all discrepancies to include missed deadlines.
- Work professionally and effectively with office and warehouse staff to achieve target goals.
- Develop and maintain positive and safe working relationships with management and all co-workers.
- Assist all locations to comply with internal and external regulations.
- Handle other job assignments as determined by the Department Supervisor, Manager and Vice President.
- Work closely with the Administration Assistant Genearl Manager and Regional Vice President
- General business support function as assigned.
- Hourly Range $20-26
- Bilingual English / Japanese is Required
- Good verbal & written Japanese communication skills
- Good verbal, written and presentation skills including the ability to communicate complex solutions and findings
- Ability to multi-task and handle quickly changing priorities.
- Must be a team player.
- Excellent comprehension to instruction and on-the-job training.
- Research and problem-solving ability.
- Travel to other nearby offices in greater LA area required
High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience
At least one year experience in an Administrative or similar role
This position requires working 100% onsite. Telecommuting is not offered
