We would like to meet someone with Medical Office Front Desk Experience and conversational skills. Prior Telephone, Front Desk, Appointment, Check-in and Check-out, and billing experience is necessary. Solid experience with EHR specifically ChaRM or a similar EHR is essential for the applicant. Applicant must be self-motivated with an engaging compassionate and professional presence.
The Company: Fit Logic Functional Medicine is a private cash-pay practice specializing in hormonal balance, gut health, and autoimmunity, with a focus on disease prevention and health promotion. We believe in treating the whole person, including the full realm of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects rather than handing out band-aids to mask symptoms. We also offer massage therapy and Vitamin Infusions and shots.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and coordinate schedules, appointments, and calendars
- Create spreadsheets, presentations, and marketing materials
- Maintain an organized filing system
- Create a warm and friendly first impression by welcoming and speaking to patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Answering phone, making appointments and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients.
- Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
- Keep the office running efficiently by monitoring patient appointments on schedule and then notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
- Comfort patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.
- Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient payments/charges; controlling credit extended to patients.
- Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs.
- Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and other clerical assignments as needed.

- Full time: 36-40 hours per week hours per week

Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour
