Clinical Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Clinical Assistant to join our medical team. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and medical administrative support. If you are passionate about patient service and have the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply. Will require training at the Westlake location then relocated to the Kyle location.

Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care

- Handle patient interactions and communication over the phone

- Collect and document patient information, including medical history and current symptoms

- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records

- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols

- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification or training as a Clinical Assistant is preferred

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology

- Experience in coding and medical billing is a plus

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Pay: $15.51 - $16.89 per hour
