WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
AVITA Medical (ASX: AVH, OTCQX: AVMXY), a regenerative medicine company with a technology platform positioned to address opportunities and unmet medical needs in burns, chronic wounds, and aesthetics indications is recruiting for a Department Coordinator for the Medical Affairs Team.
This position is an administrative role and includes working with the Medical Affairs Team as well as with outside agencies, third party partners, health care professionals, and internal functions to provide value to our organization and external stakeholders.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIEs:
· Department Activities
- Organize, schedule, and coordinate logistics for Medical Affairs Team meetings as well as Medical Educational programs lead by Medical Affairs Team
- Generate purchase requests, check requests, and p-card purchases
- Assist with editorial needs including updates to PowerPoint presentations
- Support organizational activities including tracking of unsolicited requests for information and file management
- Perform other general administrative duties and projects as assigned
· Contracting
- Work with internal and external parties to ensure timely execution of legal agreements
· Budget Tracking
- Follow-up with internal team members, vendors, health care professionals, and accounting to make sure payments and invoices are balanced
· Travel & Expenses
- Assist with arranging and managing domestic and internal travel plans
- Track and review expense reports
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
· Strong project planning and organizational skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to prioritize effectively, think independently and problem solve to ensure all projects are completed in an effective and timely manner
· Possess strong work ethic; self-motivated with a desire to take initiative and look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies
· Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
· Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities
EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum 1-3 years of administrative experience with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
· Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design platforms are a plus
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
· Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
TRAVEL_ EXPECTATIONS:_
· Minimal travel required to off-site events (~10%)
