Neapco is currently seeking to fill the position of full-time Administrative Assistant. This position is based out of our Components location in Beatrice, Nebraska. Compensation dependent upon qualifications.
Job Description: Administrative Assistant
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be the first point of contact for our company by phone and in-person and will provide administrative support across the organization. The ideal candidate should have a Can-Do attitude. This position will provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.
- Assists the Plant Manager’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
- Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
- Prepares & distributes reports, which may involve collecting and analyzing information.
- Responsible for preparation of presentations, schedule management, and acting as the communication liaison between managers and other company locations.
- Responsible for editing and publishing the weekly plant new flash.
- Responsible for handling confidential customer and company information.
- Manages the building mail.
- Responsible for office supplies; manages inventory, ordering, & follow up.
- Partners with IT services to address system issues with projection equipment, phones, kiosks, etc.
- First point of contact for guests and customers in person or on the telephone.
- Involved member of the plant’s Belonging Committee.
- Handle administrative requests from the management team as needed.
- May attend meetings and take detailed minutes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ experience as a receptionist and/or Administrative Assistant.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent writing and communication skills inclusive of a high-level understanding and application of the English language.
- Detail oriented and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
