Job Description
In this role, the Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of tasks in support of the sales operation department. Candidate must be highly self-motivated, proactive, highly organized, and collaborative with a strong strategic partner focus with great personality. It is essential the individual demonstrates exceptional leadership, collaboration to effectively utilize all support resources, and professionalism in representing the department, and the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage assigned client and supplier base
- Routine tasks include supporting of sales operation management, file organization
- Data entry
- First Phone and interaction with individuals from outside of company
- Partner support with all admins personnel to ensure success in all areas
- Provide desk coverage for Dedicated Admins in their absence
- Provide general administrative support to Dedicated Admins and Managers Including:
- Data entry
- Research
- Meeting/event coordination
- Scanning/printing documents
- PowerPoint refinement
- Office supply management
- Provide “hands & feet” tasks for management members
- Provide technical expertise and drive improvements for general administrative tasks
- Long term project ownership
- Special projects and tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Given the small size of our company and the nature of the work to be performed, regular attendance is very essential.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products;
- Associate degree and 2 years administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Ability to speak, write and read English fluently;
- Ability to use excellent judgment, always handle confidential materials and display a professional demeanor.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence;
- Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle with clean driving record
- Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, and create and interpret various spreadsheets, charts and graphs.
- Ability to meet all deadlines.
- Ability to use phones, email, fax, Microsoft Office, Adobe and other specific computer programs written for the position.
- Must possess ability to work well with a variety of personality types in a fast-paced environment and frequently perform a variety of tasks involving different aptitudes, technologies, and procedures.
- Previous working experience in Supply chain, Grocery wholesale is a PLUS
