Lotis Environmental, LLC, a nationwide environmental consulting firm, is seeking applications for a part time Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate would be able to juggle multiple tasks during a day while maintaining focus on their current project.
As an industry-leading company, our projects are often fast-paced, multi-faceted, and geographically diverse (Continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories where NEPA regulations are enforced). The successful candidate will have the ability to manage varying priorities and multiple tasks while forging a cohesive delivery team to meet concurrent deadlines on multiple projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in our operations, performing a variety of tasks that support our team and projects. Your duties will be multifaceted and evolving, making every day an opportunity to learn and contribute in new ways.
- Track Vendor Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and ensure compliance.
- Sort and distribute mail.
- Handle miscellaneous filing tasks.
- Dispatch new projects to team members.
- Initiate job folders and maintain project documentation.
- Enter new projects into our tracking system.
- Write short descriptions of properties, analyzing current and historic aerial images, topographic maps, and fire insurance maps (training provided).
- Assist the HR director in coordinating HR processes and initiatives.
- Conduct brief owner and municipal interviews (3-5 questions) for project insights.
- Perform data entry tasks with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for various administrative tasks.

Work Schedule:
- Flexibility: Part-time between 15-25 hours weekly, with a flexible schedule allowing you to determine your working hours within our office hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Monday Meetings: While we offer scheduling flexibility, we prefer that all team members participate in our "all hands on deck" meetings every Monday at 11 AM. This ensures we stay connected, aligned, and informed about our projects and goals.
