The AD Compliance Specialist reports to Sr Fleet Manager and is responsible for but not limited to gathering, controlling, and issuing approved documentation for compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs). This is a remote position.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains a master file and data base for all ADs specific to aircraft type and its sub-systems along with attachments of drawings, photos,etc. (if applicable) used to comply with an AD.
- Electronically records all Airworthiness Directives EOs in the maintenance programs data base.
- Assigns specific PMI tracking numbers for Airworthiness Directives EOs.
- Responsible for IRB presentations, financial analysis on all newly released Airworthiness Directives that apply to Mesa Airlines fleet types.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Sr Fleet Manager
Requirements
Qualifications:
(a) Holds a Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings
and has held these ratings for at least three years. Meets the
requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83.
(b) Have at least three years of maintenance experience of different
types of large aircraft with ten or more passenger seats with an air
carrier or certificate repair station, one year of which must have been
as a maintenance inspector
(c) Have at least one year of experience in a supervisory capacity
maintaining the same category and class of aircraft as used by
Mesa Airlines, Inc.
