SC First Steps 4K Lead & Assistant Teachers | Columbia & Irmo

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a SC First Steps 4K Lead & Assistant Teachers for our schools in Columbia and Irmo.

No nights! No weekends! And make a difference every single day.

Pay rate: $17-$19 per hour, based on education, experience, and credentials.

Positions Available at:

• • Columbia, 3011 Broad River Road
  • Columbia, 1801 Clemson Road
  • Irmo, 915 Kennerly Road

Current Teacher Openings:

• SC First Steps Lead Teachers
• SC First Steps Assistant Teachers

Responsibilities:

• Implement the SC state First Steps 4K curriculum to prepare children for success in kindergarten.
• Welcome our families. Engage them in conversation about their child's education, and the features and benefits of our programs.
• Have fun in everything you do!

Requirements

• Lead Teachers: At least an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Assistant Teachers: High school diploma or GED required with coursework in Early Childhood Development (ECD) 101.
• At least 6 months of experience at a licensed childcare center required.
