What You Need to Know
The Field Specialist Corporate Compliance conducts assigned AccentCare Compliance Program functions, with a focus on supporting hospice field operations while maintaining and expanding the visibility of the Compliance function throughout the organization.
- Investigates reports of non-compliance, consistent with department procedures. Documents investigation findings; documents corrective action plans and monitors completion.
- Conducts ongoing and targeted compliance oversight audits, which may include patient chart reviews.
- Develops and conducts Compliance educational offerings; provides webinars and in-services.
- Coordinates with Clinical Operations and Quality in conducting oversight activities and managing associated corrective action plans.
- Proactively identifies issues and prepares solutions to address them in a timely manner, up to and including coordinating workgroups and meetings.
- Fosters a culture of compliance throughout the organization. Serves as an internal expert and advisor in Compliance matters. Maintains knowledge and understanding of the company, its business operations and strategy, industry laws, regulations, and guidelines.

- Active Registered Nurse (R.N. license) in any state.
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Health Care Administration, or other related health care field preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in increasingly responsible positions in a healthcare environment including experience with Hospice services.
- Project management experience
- Experience conducting compliance investigations in a health care setting.
- Experience in developing and conducting auditing and monitoring (Internal Audit, Quality Improvement or QAPI)
- Understanding of hospice revenue cycle and reimbursement for federally funded programs and private payers
- Extensive knowledge of hospice and post-acute regulatory environment preferred
- Statistical data analysis experience preferred
- Experience with HCHB (HomeCare HomeBase) or other EMR systems
- Group facilitation and presentation skills
- Knowledge of continuous improvement, change management
Required Certifications and Licensures:
- Active RN license in any state
