PURPOSE: The Assistant Compliance Specialist coordinates and completes a variety of operational tasks to ensure delivery of quality services in a safe environment. The Assistant Compliance Specialist also coordinates efforts to ensure department and organizational compliance.

This job operates as a remote tele-work position, as Arion Care Solutions does not provide a separate workplace at a corporate location unless requested or required. Working from home requires a high degree of discipline and the ability to have a space dedicated to work in the home and provision for childcare if appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1-3 years relevant work experience, preferably in a Human Services field
- Satisfactory background check
- Ability to obtain DPS fingerprint clearance card

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Policies and Standard Operating Procedures:
- Understand and follow policies and procedures to support job-related task completion, including:
- Incident Report Policy
- Respite Certified Homes and IDLA sites (certification: initial sites and renewals)
- Employee certifications and background checks
- Provide reports to include summaries and recommendations
- Identify and track trends.
- Monitor, track, and review certifications
- Conduct assigned audits.
- Provide recommendations for change, as needed
- Assist on special organizational projects.
- Support team compliance efforts related to:
- Internal Fact Findings
- Funding Source requests
- Health Plan requests
- Managed Care Organizations (MCO) requests
- Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
- Office of Inspector General (OIG) requests
- Arizona Health Care Cost Containment Systems (AHCCCS) and other funding source and regulatory requests
Learning and Development:
- Assist in development of training materials for employee development
- Develop and maintain effective and productive working relationships with
- Support Quality Assurance Department staff in implementing QA Tasks.
Internal and external funding source compliance with all regulations and policies but not limited to:
- Reporting to work on time as
- Refraining from excessive
- Obtaining prior approval for desired time
- Maintain all records, logs, and other documentation as required by company rule and State policy and
- Ensure that a clean and safe environment free from abuse, intimidation and harassment is
- Maintain all licenses, training and certifications as required by funding source and/or Company policies and
- Maintain professional demeanor and protect confidentiality of member, staff and agency
