The primary function of the Compliance Support Specialist is to support the local market compliance with HOA and Municipality requirements by executing payments related to fines and fees and maintaining accurate and complete records related to HOA contact information, requirements and restrictions. The Compliance Support Specialist will be corresponding with various departments within corporate headquarters, field personnel, and external sources preserving and resolving compliance matters.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Onboard and maintain HOAs and Municipalities as needed (W-9, vendor codes, contact info, etc.)
- Execute payments for fines and fees.
- Review and manage HOA documents containing the restrictions and rules of the community
- Research HOA statements and delinquency notices, and address any discrepancies
- Assist with ensuring data integrity
- Interact and communicate with local market property compliance team when additional assistance is necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- High School or GED
- Minimum two years of customer service and/or HOA/property management experience
- Willing to travel twice a year
Skills/Specialized Knowledge
- Ability to multitask using a variety of IT platforms simultaneously
- Must be proficient in Microsoft software applications
- YARDI knowledgeable preferred
- Salesforce knowledgeable preferred
- Ability to solve problems constructively
- Ability to work with limited supervision, “self-motivated”
- Works well with others in a team environment, “team-player”
- Excellent customer service skills both internal and external
- Proficient verbal and writing skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task with accuracy

Physical and Mental Demands
This position will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. This position requires the ability to talk, hear, compare, compute, compile, copy, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate and communicate.
