Accounts Receivable / Shipping Coordinator

Job Summary: The Office/Shipping Coordinator position at MPE's headquarters in Chicago is a full-time, direct, onsite role. The role involves front office responsibilities related to accounting and customer service, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

1. Communicate with customers to collect debts and resolve outstanding balances.
2. Convey past due statements to customers.
3. Prepare and disburse invoices to customers through email or mail.
4. Work collaboratively with other teams to maintain schedules for capital equipment orders.
5. Handle issues arising in the shipping of parts or equipment.
6. Coordinate and schedule domestic and international large shipments.
7. Review and process new orders for capital equipment.
8. Create customer reports for equipment repairs.
9. Organize expense reports and subsequent invoices for customer service visits.
10. Manage all customer invoices.
11. Process and post customer payments.

Skills and Experience:

1. Associate or bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
2. Previous experience with an ERP system.
3. Previous experience in an accounting or customer service role.
4. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
5. High organizational skills.
6. Independent team player.
7. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
8. High attention to detail.
