Boos Resource and Technology, LLC and its corresponding entities are looking to hire an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk.
The job duties will include but are not limited to:
Accounts Payable
- Input and review vendor invoices and expense reports
- Maintain all accounts payable files, records, and inboxes, including W-9’s and COI's.
- Perform day to day management of all payment cycle activities
- Ensure correct approval, coding, and matching of invoices/receipts with project numbers
- Ensure all invoices are coded to the correct GL accounts and departments
- Review and reconcile company credit cards and fuel cards
- Complete Credit Applications when requested
- Create and enter Purchase Orders (POs)
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, including but not limited to filing, shipping, and ordering of office supplies
Other accounting and office-related duties and projects may be required.
Accounts Receivable
- Work with Project Managers to coordinate and manage project billing, work in progress (WIP), and accounts receivable.
- Gather and organize data including pricing, markups, discounts, and shipping rates.
- Collect necessary information to calculate invoices, such as order amounts and discount rates.
- Review inputted data in the accounting system for invoice accuracy.
- Ensure accurate billing for services provided to customers.
- Generate and distribute invoices electronically or via mail.
- Monitor account balances to identify any outstanding services, debts, or discrepancies.
- Update accounting records with new customer and project details, payments, and balances.
- Prepare and send customer statements and overdue notices.
- Follow up on overdue payments.
- Provide monthly reports on billing activities.
- Align with Company Financial Objectives by maintaining schedules and tracking progress.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Minimum of two years of accounting experience
Construction industry knowledge is a plus
