GENERAL COUNSEL
Charlottesville, VA or Media, PA
Anchor Health Properties, a national full-service medical real estate development, management, and investment company, seeks an attorney to serve as the firm’s General Counsel. The General Counsel will oversee all legal affairs and direct legal strategy for AHP’s active acquisition, development and asset management platforms, while leading an in-house, multi attorney team. The ideal candidate must be willing to office in either our Charlottesville, VA or Media, PA (suburban Philadelphia) office.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Juris Doctorate and active membership in at least one State Bar Association;
- at least ten years’ experience at a law firm in a real estate practice group, or at a private equity or real estate development or investment company; and
- preferred experience in:
- real estate or private equity investment structuring/syndication
- institutional compliance departments or with securities offerings or regulation, and
- managing real estate transactions, development and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
