In This Role YOU Will:
Contact clients to resolve outstanding balances and maintain open lines of communication during the collection process
Maintain all account and client detail information accurately in the CRM system including status updates and contact attempts
Ensures that all cash is applied accurately and completely; must balance individually each day in order to achieve a timely monthly closing of Accounts Receivable
Balancing daily bank deposits to AR receipts and maintaining historical data
Creates chargebacks for all unauthorized deductions as well as clearing all approved deductions
Remain compliant with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
Successful track record in reducing company's DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize
Clear understanding of collections due process
Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency to include Microsoft Office Suite with significant Excel experience, QuickBooks & Excel
Accounting Degree or certification preferred
