Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of receivables, contributing to IBP’s overall financial health.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintains and updates Accounts Receivable records
• Reconciles Accounts Receivables to General Ledger
• Communicate with managers, builders, and customers to clarify information and to explain the billing process.
• Manage, track, and prepare weekly reports
• Ability to enter and update data in accounting records accurately
• Completes other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent data entry skills
• 1-3 years of previous receptionist/ administrative assistant experience in the construction industry or related field
• Experience with general Accounts Receivable, billings, and cash applications a plus.
• Must be honest, reliable, and dependable and have a positive attitude
• Must be able to work independently or with others in a team environment
• Able to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Operate general office equipment for example; fax machine, copier, scanner, etc.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and prioritize work based on urgency
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
