Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of receivables, contributing to IBP’s overall financial health.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Maintains and updates Accounts Receivable records
- Reconciles Accounts Receivables to General Ledger
- Communicate with managers, builders, and customers to clarify information and to explain the billing process.
- Manage, track, and prepare weekly reports
- Ability to enter and update data in accounting records accurately
- Completes other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent data entry skills
- 1-3 years of previous receptionist/ administrative assistant experience in the construction industry or related field
- Experience with general Accounts Receivable, billings, and cash applications a plus.
- Must be honest, reliable, and dependable and have a positive attitude
- Must be able to work independently or with others in a team environment
- Able to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Operate general office equipment for example; fax machine, copier, scanner, etc.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and prioritize work based on urgency
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
