Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk

Lehman Daman Construction Services, Inc. began in 1946 and now employs over 50 people and is part of the Rudolph Libbe Group. Lehman Daman is comprised of two main divisions, large projects, and service. The large projects group handles what many would typically think of as commercial construction projects. JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Accounting Clerk will be an integral part of Lehman Daman and assist across multiple

departments to ensure accurate financial reporting each day, week, and month.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounts Payable

• Monitor AP email account.
• Route vendor invoices to Project Managers and enter approved vendor invoices in ERP system, and work with managers to resolve any discrepancies.
• Reconcile credit card statement to receipts and follow up on missing information.
• Prepare and process weekly check run.
• Handle vendor inquiries.
• Review vendor statements and reconcile to ERP system. Follow up on missing information.
• Maintain accurate vendor records.
• Assist with month end and year end AP closing process.
• Assist with expense tracking.
• Address vendor payment inquiries.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Accounts Receivable

• Assist Project Managers with monthly customer invoices.
• Apply payments received to customer accounts.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances, and work with managers to resolve any disputes.
• Assist with month end and year end AR closing process.
• Maintain accurate customer records.
• Other tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
