Accounts Payable/Receivables Clerk

Renascent Protection Solutions is looking for a talented and motivated person to add to an already solid employee base.

This position will support all aspects of accounting payables and receivables, ensuring that all deadlines are met with the highest degree of accuracy.

Position: Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Clerk

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares all vouchers and approved invoices for payment; processes all company payments in a timely manner.
• Interfaces with appropriate departments to secure proper payment approvals.
• Oversees maintenance of accounts payable files and records.
• Processes claim payments and contract refunds.
• Assists with 1099s preparation.
• Responds to all vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and check requests; resolves invoice discrepancies.
• Prepares and prints accounts payable reports; reviews and reconciles periodic reports to maintain current reconciliation status for cash and disbursement accounts.
• Prepares daily bank deposits, reviews for accuracy.
• Batches cash entries into Admin system in a timely manner.
• Maintains cash receipt files.
• Monitors and maintains accounts receivable aging.
• Assists with accounts receivable process through correspondence and collection calls as directed.
• Prepares customer invoices; reconciles customer accounts.
• Assists with monthly closings and bank statement reconciliation, annual external audits.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, both in AR and AP.
• Data entry skills
• Comfortable with math and calculations
• Listening and communication skills
• Attention to detail

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Continually required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
• Frequently required to talk and hear.
• Frequently utilizing visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard and mouse.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
