Job Overview: We are seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments and collections. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various computerized systems. Duties: - Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate coding and approvals - Prepare and issue payments to vendors - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Generate customer invoices and send them out in a timely manner - Follow up on outstanding customer balances and facilitate collections - Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions - File and organize financial documents for easy retrieval Skills: - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Proficiency in using databases and other computerized systems for Data Entry and retrieval - Ability to transcribe data accurately with attention to detail - Knowledge of basic math principles for calculations and reconciliations - Familiarity with clerical procedures and office equipment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including pivot tables) for data analysis We offer competitive compensation, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for career growth.
