Etactics, Inc. has openings in the Hudson, OH area for an Accounts Receivable/Payable clerk position with great room for personal and professional development.
The AR/AP clerk will be responsible for managing multiple companies’ accounts receivable functions, including invoicing customers, collecting payments, and managing customer credit accounts. Additionally, the clerk will be responsible for managing multiple companies’ accounts payable functions, including processing invoices, making payments to suppliers, and maintaining vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities (applicable to all included companies):
Follow up with customers to collect overdue payments and resolve billing disputes
- Reconcile accounts receivable and resolve discrepancies
- Process purchase orders and invoices and ensure accurate payment to suppliers, as well as any necessary follow up to resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely payments and resolve billing issues
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain accurate vendor records
- Assist team in processing invoices and ensure accurate billing to customers and other month-end closing processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
