Accounts Receivable Clerk

General Plumbing Supply is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Accounts Receivable Department.

Duties will include:

• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions
• Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers
• Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
• Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.
• Daily mail pick up from Post Office
• Scanning & Attaching all documents
• Organizing & Filing of all documents
• Computer proficiency a must and experience with Eclipse ERP (or Epicor products) a plus

Requirements:*

• Mathematical and logical deduction skills
• Experience with customer service and client communication
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create and edit Excel spreadsheets
• Familiarity with accounting software programs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
