Job Description
Law Firm in Bergen County will train a Billing Clerk to work in the Billing Department; this is a hybrid full-time position, working two days in the office and three days remotely.
- Professionalism and acute attention to detail are a must.
- Qualified individuals must have some knowledge and use of spreadsheets.
- Must have very good written and communication skills when dealing with Staff and Clients.
- Proper phone etiquette is a must.
The Specialist will be responsible for obtaining a full understanding of the Company billing matters, including sending invoices, updating clients, resolving issues related to invoices, and providing accurate reports.
Compensation:$45,000 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:Training in all areas below
- Prepare Client invoices
- Communicate with Clients offering superior customer services
- Create status reports of client invoices weekly and monthly.
- Collaborate regularly with Staff and Clients to resolve any issues and ensure bills are accurate and complete
- Ensure client computer file information is accurate
- Report status updates to management
- Monitor A/R, collections, and follow-up calls
- Ensure prompt billing
- Prepare documentation/spreadsheets as needed
- Ensure successful transmission of invoices
- Assist with gathering client information and scheduling appointments
- Professional communication skills with proper phone etiquette
- Must have advanced proficiency in Excel
- Must want a future at the firm after training in a combination of billing, accounting, credit, and administrative duties
- Must have advanced proficiency in Excel and Word
- Work authorization: United States (Required)
