Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, monitoring customer accounts, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining our financial stability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Process incoming payments and apply them to customer accounts
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Prepare and send invoices to customers
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues
- Generate financial reports related to Accounts Receivable
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and interactions with customers
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries or disputes

This job is ideal for someone who:
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including debits and credits
- Proficient in 10-key typing and data entry
- Experience working with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to use a (Mac) computer and type at least 60wpm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
