General Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices, timely payments to vendors, and maintaining strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Invoice Processing:

• Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices, ensuring proper coding, approval,
  and documentation.
• Implement and maintain best practices for invoice processing and workflow efficiency.

2. Vendor Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving
  issues promptly.
• Negotiate favorable payment terms with vendors and collaborate with procurement for
  vendor contract management.

3. Payment Processing:

• Coordinate and execute the timely and accurate disbursement of payments, including
  checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Ensure compliance with payment schedules and terms to optimize cash flow.

4. Internal Controls:

• Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud or errors in the Accounts Payable process.
• Regularly review and update policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards.

5. Month-End Close:

• Collaborate with the accounting team to facilitate a smooth month-end close process.
• Reconcile Accounts Payable sub-ledger with the general ledger and resolve any
  discrepancies.
• Ensure jobs are closed out in a timely fashion and expected COGS and expenses are
  reported accurately.

6. Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze Accounts Payable reports, providing insights into spending patterns and
  identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Generate ad-hoc reports as needed for management decision-making.

Requirements
Education and Experience

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable.
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures required.
• Knowledge of Quickbooks, Apple/MAC and Microsoft Suite preferred.
• Proficient in data entry, and management.
• 2-4 years Accounts Payable, general accounting experience, and/ or bachelor's degree in accounting,
  finance or related field is preferred.
