ABOUT THE POSITION

Palm Aire Country Club has an exceptional career opportunity for anAccounts Payable Specialist.

We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our accounting team to support the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systems. This role is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the company through the completion of vendor payments in an accurate, efficient and timely manner and controlling expenses through processing, verifying and reconciling invoices and statements while maintaining accurate records and accounts.

This position plays an integral role in helping us meet our profitability goals. At Palm Aire Country Club we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive our business forward. The Accounts Payable Specialist keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers. The AP specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time and on good terms with our valued partners.

The AP Specialist works closely with the Controller and AR Specialist and plays a key role in completing day-to-day accounting duties specific to Accounts Payable, accounts receivable and other related duties as assigned.

Integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting and member accounts and complying with national and local financial requirements is an essential function of this position.

• Professional experience and personal integrity working with confidential and sensitive experience.
• Knowledge of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills.
• 1-3 years of general bookkeeping/accounting experiences
• An ability to prioritize and manage expectations.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently.
• Detail minded with high level of organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
• Experience with 3rd party AP processors.
• Ability to operate computer and other general office equipment.
