Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator

Our office is located on Anastasia Island in St. Augustine, FL but we work with clients all over the United States, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico. We provide different levels of service to our clients depending on their business and financial needs, including:

o Federal and state tax compliance and planning,

o Accounting information system consulting, implementation and management

o CFO Services

o Overall business entity structure design

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll and Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. As the Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll for 140 employees and the Accounts Payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices. This is a key role within our finance department, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall financial success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the Accounts Payable function, including processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payment

- Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies

- Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals for invoice payments

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records in the accounting system

- Prepare and analyze Accounts Payable reports, providing insights and recommendations to management

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting regulations

- Assist with month-end close activities related to Accounts Payable

- Manage the payroll function, including onboarding and terminations, benefits management and timecard approvals for 140 employees

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Experience with Rippling Payroll Software a plus

- Experience with payroll for large employees and tipped employees

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
